So far, such plan has only been released in India, where it turned out to be quite successful. Therefore, Netflix is aiming its cheap, mobile-only option at another country, this time Malaysia. Its price there will be RM 17, an equivalent of four dollars. The plan limits access to Netflix to a single device, as well as offering only low-quality of videos (480p). Netflix believes that Malaysia, where the majority of Internet users do so only via a smartphone, is a market ripe for that kind of deal:
