Originally, Epic Games did not want to enable this option, being unsure about whether or not their servers will be up for the task. The company only changed its mind under pressure from both gamers as well as Gearbox, game’s developers, itself. Now everyone who pre-ordered the game will be able to download it 48 hours before its release date (September 13th). Cool.
