Asus’ gaming smartphone is now available for pre-ordering in China, which means that its price has finally become officially known. ROG Phone 2’s price in the land of great walls and soulless regimes is 3,499 yuan for the 8GB RAM + 128GB ROM variant and 5,999 yuan for the 12GB RAM + 128GB ROM one. This is the price of the Tencent-affiliated model, the one that will probably be released globally; China-exclusive variants are more costly (5999 and 7,999 yuan). When translated into western currency, Tencent version of the device will cost between 509 and 873 dollars. Sadly, we do not know when will this device reach western countries.
