Australians believe Samsung is not as waterproof as it advertises itself to be, takes it to the court

Australian Competition and Consumer Commission, ACCC, believes that the advertisement that shows Samsung smartphones’ waterproof capabilities are in fact misinforming the potential client. The issue, according to ACCC, is that the IP68 waterproof certificate ads only mention sweat water, as opposed to salty water that the whole continent is surrounded by. ACCC is taking the case to the court, and it will be very interesting to see how it ends. We will keep you informed.
