For those of you not in the know, Dead Cells is a soul-lite action platformer, where every death costs us some progress but also gives us a chance to reequip ourselves to better face challenge at hand. The game has already been released on PC as well as other gaming consoles, but its creators, Playdigious studio, are not done mining this particular gold deposit; they have recently released a trailer in which Dead Cells is promised to soon come out on mobile devices. It will come out on iOS and Android smartphones. Playdigious promises that the phones’ small displays and touch & gesture controls will not hamper the gaming experience in the least; Dead Cells for mobile will be a total conversion.
The game’s release date is planned for sometime this summer. The iOS version will come out first; Android users will have to wait a few months more. That is too bad but, on the other hand, long wait means that the conversion will be better polished. Dead Cells for mobile will not be a free to play game – despite some technical changes, it will still be the same game as before.
