AK-47, or Kalashnikov assault rifle – durable, dependable, efficient. These are the qualities that Kalashnikov will probably want to put into its newest project, the CV-1 electric car. The car might be looking as if it was taken out from an USSR street in the 70’s, but Kalashnikov was never about style; this producer aims towards simplicity and consistency instead. CV-1, recently presented during the military appliances fair in Moscow, is said to have good specs: it supposedly can travel 350 kilometers before having to recharge. Sadly, no more technicalities regarding this device are currently known.

CV-1 is not the only transportation project that Kalashnikov is currently working on. The russians are also making an electric motorbike as well as the first ever mech called Igor.
