The 64GB variant can now be bought there for 59,000 rupees, 17,900 less than before. According to Reuter though, the new pricing is merely a short-term promotional offer. Apple hopes that the new price will entice Indians into buying their devices, seeing how roughly 3/4 of people there do not own such a device at all due to their steep, for Indian market, prices.
