According to Elon Musk, who continues to spearhead his ”space tourism” SpaceX program, soon it will not cost you that much to pack up and move to Mars. The man of the future (or at least of weird ideas) has done the math and believes that, using his Falcon9 rocket, the price of moving to the Red Planet would be something around 500 thousand dollars; not a lot, considering that it will cost him 47 million dollars to launch the Falcon9. So yeah, sell your house, pack your bags, grab your kids and critters and head to Mars. A bright future awaits!
