Serious Android vulnerability requires a fix



This new vulnerability has been detected in Androids 7.0, 7.1.1, 7.1.2, 8.0, 8.1 and 9. It allows the 3rd party to take control of smartphone simply by having its user open a .png file (a picture). Google has pointed out three vulnerability packs in the Framework subsystem: two of them can be found in every of the abovementioned Android systems and one is only in the Android 9. Proper patches have already been released or will be released soon.
