Turns out 29 camera apps in Google Play Store were stealing our pictures

29 beauty camera apps available on Google Play Store have been discovered by Trend Micro security firm to contain to contain malicious malware that steals user’s photos. Some of them would screen advertisement for porn sites, while others would direct us to phishing websites. Stolen pictures were uploaded to a private server. The infected apps have been taken off the store by Google, but not after being downloaded supposedly millions of times already.

Whoopsies. Moral of the story? Stay ugly in real as well as in your pictures.
