According to a report from ETNews, LG wants to reveal a 5G-enabled V series smartphone during this year’s Mobile World Congress event. LG has already made a ”normal”, non-5G V series smartphones; the decision to use the existing brand has been reportedly made to avoid the time and money-consuming process of creating a new one. Rumour is that the device was at first planned to be housed under the G series brand, but the word now is that the upcoming G8 ThinQ will be the last device in that line.

No specs of this new 5G device are available. What we do know is that it will be released both in Europe and US, and that its price will be something around 1250 dollars.
