Google News, aggregate of news from various online websites from all over the world, might be pulled out from Europe. The reason for this is a copyright laws directive that the European Parliament is currently working on. If the directive passes, it will give the authors of texts that Google News uses demand payment for their usage – all that it will require is for just parts of their articles to appear when browsing Google News. For the moment the directive has been stopped, but it being passed is not out of question. Analysts are not certain what Google will do if that happens; they might actually pull GN out of the Old World or they might find a way to work around or with the directive.
