21st century religion, or how Pope endorses the ClickToPray app

Last Sunday, Pope Francis took time to publicly tout the ClickToPray mobile application. This marked probably the first time in the history where Pope spoke about electronics from the balcony over the St. Peter’s Square. ClickToPray, first released in 2016, allows its users to post what they are praying for at the moment. It also helps other people find those praying and pray along with them. The app even has a section where the pope himself will now be leaving monthly prayer guidance.

The app is free, although some snarky souls out there believe that Vatican might try to cash in on microtransactions ;p.
