”Beautygate” or First World Problems or how iPhone Xs takes too good selfies

People and their problems nowadays… It looks like iPhones Xs and Xs Max are making people happy whether they want it or not. Not only there is no option to turn off Depth Control, feature that controls background softening in autoportrait mode, but their 7mpx smartphones automatically, without our consent nor knowledge, even out our face’s imperfections. Cool, I guess. Apple recognizes the issue (sarcasm aside, not having control over your own phone is definitely an issue) and promises that the upcoming iOS 12.1 update will fix it. Personally I wonder whether it is actually a glitch in the phone’s software or was it an intentional, if failed, choice on their side.
