It took Samsung three months, but it is finally rolling the Android 8.1 Oreo update to the Galaxy J5 (2017) smartphone. Right now the update is only available in Poland, presumably as a trial. Global rollout’s date is unknown but expected in a matter of weeks. Software version J530FXXU2BRH5 brings with it a currently unknown number of fixes and changes.
