Oy wey, or Apple is third in the global ranking of smartphone sales

Apple’s financial track may be great, but it could be better. According to the IDC report from the 2nd quarter of 2018, company from Cupertino has dropped from the 2nd to 3rd best-selling smartphone brand in the world. Huawei has taken this spot on the pedestal, with 54,2 mln smartphones sold, while Apple has sold merely, hah hah, 41.3 million. In other words, Huawei holds 15.8% of the market, while Apple covers only 12.1%. Both companies are dwarfed by the ongoing lider, though. Samsung has sold 71.5 million devices in the last quarter year, and holds 21.9% of the market shares. 4th place is now being held by Oppo (31,9 mln, 9,3 proc).

Good? Bad? Eh, I do not care in the least. Perhaps Apple should lower its prices if it wants more people to buy its stuff. What do you think?
