It has recently come to the attention of many users that there is an issue with the iOS 11.4. Namely, this particular OS seems to be a heavy drain on the iPhone’s accumulator, most noticeably in standby mode, when the phone is supposed to drain very little battery power. Apple website has already reached 33 pages of complaints regarding this problem. This post explains the issue pretty well:

”My iPhone 6 was working perfectly fine until I updated to iOS 11.4 and ever since I did that my battery is draining rapidly even without me using it at all. I used to go a full day without charging it now it may last half a day.

I am just wondering if something got turned on with this new update that I have to turn off to save battery life. It is just weird I have not done anything other than update the iOS and now this happening.

”Apple has yet to officially acknowledge the problem. Meanwhile, the amount of complainers is piling up… It is unknown whether or not the upcoming iOS 11.4.1 update will fix this problem.
