Whether or not we like iPhones (I do not, but I do not like anything so it is okay), we cannot deny that they are extremely popular, even despite their outlandish price and air of â€elitism†that surround them. It is not rare for Apple smartphones to break monthly, quarterly or early sale records, therefore it will not surprise anyone to learn that iPhone X was the best selling smartphone of March 2018, covering (according to Counterpoint Research) 3.5% of worldwide smartphone sales during that month. What may surprise you, though, is that no Samsung phone came second nor even third; these places belong to iPhone 8 Plus and Redmi 5A. Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ have received just fifth and sixth places. Ouch, Samsung.
