Samsung is preparing new smartphones; this time it is the successors to the Galaxy A5 and A5 Plus from 2017. Expected to be unveiled soon, these devices are supposedly being prepared for release in Russia, Middle East and Europe – no US or Asian markets for the new A series. Not a lot has been known about them until today; thankfully, new renders found out by $OnLeaks are adding to our knowledge. Video depicting Galaxy A6 can be watched here, and the one showing Galaxy A6+ is available here. Among the more interesting features noticeable are:
– dual rear camera i Galaxy A6+,
– fingerprint scanner,
– rear design similiar to the S8 series,
– either glass or metal rears,
– microUSB port, no Type-C.
According to benchmarks, phones will be powered by the Exynos 7870 and Snapdragon 625 chipsets and 3/4GB RAM respectively. Both will be run by the Android 8.0 OS.
