Yay, another reason for me to have a low opinion on our eastern cousins. Russian company Rudron/Expeditor 3M has recently organized an event in which it tested its expensive, experimental mail drone in a town of Ulan-Ude, Siberia. Well, test did not went all that well. Moments after takeoff the pilot lost control of the drone, and the machine crashed into a nearby building. There goes your 20k! The video of the test flight can be watched here. It is speculated that the area’s high WiFi signals have messed up drone’s controls, but most people in the know-how consider that argument a bunch of crap.

Keep trying, I guess.
