In a bit of an unexpected turn, Huawei’s P9 and P9 Plus smartphones have been said to soon have their operating systems updated to 8.0 Oreo. The turn is unexpected because both phones are now two years old and Huawei has so far been quiet on updating their OS’. Now, though, there is an (unofficial) word on one of Huawei’s officials saying that, indeed, P9 and P9 Plus will receive the abovementioned update in the near future. No exact date has been given, but people wiser than me believe that ”future” means ”sometime this year”. Good, I guess.
