Oh, wow, it has been a while since I wrote anything about Alcatel… kinda forgot what to do… Ehm. Info on new Alcatel phones has been hard to come by ever since the CES 2018 reveal of Alcatel 1, Alcatel 3, and Alcatel 5 series. What info we have has had to be meticulously scrounged up by XDA Developers. Thanks, guys.

So, what can I tell you about the Alcatel 3X thanks to the hard work of others? Well, the device has recently made small appearances on both FCC and Wi-Fi Alliance. They were not particulary informative, but we have learned a few things things from them. The first one is that the device will come out with Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system on board; second is that it will be kept running by a 3000mAh battery. Lastly, leaked pictures of the phone shows us an Alcatel with metal cover, dual camera rear setup and, of course, slim bezels.

Unless we will be blessed by more leaks, we will have to wait until Mobile World Congress 2018 for more info.
