Google will remove all the 32-bit apps from Google Play

Not right now, not right away, but soon. Google plans to get its store rid of all the 32-bit apps by 2019. Why? According to Google, it is because the 32-bit apps are too old – they would not work well in a more modern Android system that Google is preparing and they would also be more susceptible to hacker attacks. I do not know why exacly, but maybe there is something to it that I do not see.

Apple has got rid of 32-bit apps three years ago, with all the Apple store fulfilling the 64-bit standard. The reason for that was Intel’s CSM main drive module that could not support the 32-bit apps. Google is now catching up with the competition. For the best or for the worst? You make the call.
