HQ, an iPhone trivia game, becomes more popular than ever

HQ – Live Trivia Game Show is a free-to-play live trivia game show (duh) by Intermedia Labs, and an extremely popular one too. On last Sunday evening, the simple ”answer a question” game has reached over 680 thousand users online. Ever since its release in October, the game’s popularity has grown from a few thousand players online and prizes the size of $100 to roughly 400 thousand players per game, with prizes reaching ten thousand bucks. HQ’s growing popularity means that the game is facing some technical issues, ranging from a simple lag to question not having the correct answer. I am sure those issues will be rare, though, seeing how important it is for the live trivia show like that to run seamlessly.

Want to tune in? Download the game from the link provided at the beginning of the post. Games take place every day at 9:00 p.m. Eastern Time, with an additional game at 3:00 p.m. on weekdays. The additional bonus is the show’s host, comedian Scott Rogowsky. Enjoy.
