Apple and LG work on folding and flexible OLED phones

Hey, it turns out that there is an acronym for folding and flexible OLED phones – FFOLED. Well, as it turns out Apple plans on making a FFOLED phone, and wants LG to help out with it. According to The Korea Herald, Apple wants to source its OLED panels, as well as flexible circuit board, from LG as part of its development of a FFOLED iPhone prototype. Apple is said to already own a number of patented flexible phone designs. The reason why Apple wants to work with LG instead of Samsung (to which it outsourced the OLED panels for iPhone X) is, or so we hear, Apple’s fear of Samsung leaking the information on the development.

That is all we know so far. I will keep you updated when we learn more.
