It is always nice to get some confirmation from Motorola, seeing how fickle this company is with their phone’s updates. Sometimes an old budget device gets an update to the newest OS, sometimes a relatively new device does not – you never know with those guys. At least this time we do know something, and from the horse’s mouth no less. According to Motorola, these are the phones that most certainly will have their operating systems updated to Android 8.0 Oreo:

– Moto G5 Plus,
– Moto G5S,
– Moto G5S Plus,
– Moto Z,
– Moto Z Droid,
– Moto Z Force Droid,
– Moto Z Play,
– Moto Z Play Droid,
– Moto Z2 Play,
– Moto Z2 Force,
– Moto X4.

If you are owners of one of these phones, good for you. If not, do not fret – Motorola may (or may not) announce more Oreo-upgraded phones in the future.
