Vivo V7 Plus will be world's first phone with a 24mpx camera

Usually I do not write about devices that are unavailable to buy in the West, but this time I decided to make an exception because this is one interesting smartphone. Vivo V7+ has just been unveiled at a media event in Mumbai, and it promises to be a pretty flagship-level device with a number of high-quality features. Here is the list of features and specs promised:

– dual 24mpx front cameras with LED flash; 16mpx rear camera; Face Beauty 7.0, a blemish-removing feature for both images and video calls,
– bezel-less design; 5.99′, 18:9 display with 720p resolution packed into a body ”not much larger than a 5.5-inch phone”,
– 4GB RAM, 64GB storage,
– Snapdragon 450 CPU, said to ”consume 25% less energy while offering up to a 25% increase in performance”,
– 3225mAh battery,
– facial recognition with the so-called Face Access feature.

Vivo V7+ will cost ₹21,990 in India. Phone will be available for pre-orders starting tomorrow, and will reach Indian store shelves on September 15th. What do you think, Westerners? Would you like to be able to buy this one?
