According to tech news website Engadget, a new BlackBerry smartphone will be released in October. The general idea behind this unnamed device is for it to be weather-proof. The IP-67 certificate is not, naturally, the only one of its supposedly important features:
– a reportedly large battery, 26 hours of ”mixed use” life,
– durability,
– all-touch, no physical keyboard.
It is possible, but in no way confirmed, that the phone in question is BlackBerry BBD100-1. If so, its specification includes Snapdragon 626 CPU, 4GB RAM and a 1080p display.
