As cool as Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus were, they lacked one feature that Samsung promised before their release – a fully operational Bixby assistant. Samsung’s AI has lacked voice support, an essential part of any smartphone AI. Thankfully, no more! At least if you live in the US.

Update rollout begins immediately for both Galaxy s8 and S8 Plus owners in the United States. If your phone is still not getting it, please do not worry – it will eventually, probably in a day or two. Those of you who do not live in the US are out of luck, though, as Samsung has not stated when will the update roll outside North America.
