5.5′, 1440p display, Snapdragon 801 CPU, 3GB RAM, 16GB ROM, 3000mAh battery: LG G3 was a pretty great phone back in 2014. It did not age well, though (almost no electronics do), but it is good to see that the old workhorse has not been forgotten, as T-Mobile has just released a global update for any LG G3’s still out there (any that are on T-Mobile, at least). Newest software update ”D85130g” includes a security patch and bug fixes for the 2G/3G connection. Operating system of the phone is still Android 6.0.1.

Update’s size is 132MB. Complete download and installation will require roughly half of your phones’ battery, so make sure it’s powered up.
