Nokia 3, 5 and 6 have been recently introduced to South African customers. During the release conference, though, another important thing has been announced. CEO of HMD Global, Arto Nummela, has officialy stated that those three Nokia devices will be receiving Android updates for at least next two years. Hooray! Even Nokia 3, which is ran by MediaTek chipset (and MediaTek does not support latest Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS) will be getting regular updates. Arto Nummela also reconfirmed that all three devices will be getting monthly security updates.

So, all in all, thanks, Nokia. You have promised us that you will keep your newest budget phones in good shape for a long time. Appreciated.
