Trouble in paradise, part II. This time, Samsung Galaxy S8 has a white screen problem

Galaxy S8 is barely reaching its first customers, and it already has a number of problems reported. Remember the red screen issue I wrote about yesterday? Well, get ready for more, as Samsung has reportedly received a significant number of complaints about a white screen glitch. According to some of the Galaxy S8 users, S8’s messaging app likes to turn the whole screen white after an emote is being chosen from the list of emoticons. Simply restarting the messaging app does not seem to fix the problem. Annoying, right? Thankfully, there are two things you can try doing before heading to Samsung store:

1. You can clear the app’s cache and data. To do that, enter the App menu, Settings, Backup & Reset and Factory Data Reset. There, select the Reset Device option. Enter your password/PIN if required. Select Continue and, lastly, Delete All. Confirm. This will clear your app’s cache, which is reported to often fix the issue.

2. You can do a factory reset. This one is a bit harder than the above option, but may prove the only way to fix the problem if clearing the cache does not help. If you’re the lucky owner of Galaxy S8 and need to do the factory reset – OR if you’re looking for a reliable source of technical help with other smartphone – take a look at HardReset24.com. You may find the tips and instructions there most helpful.
