Do you think that you may be addicted to your smartphone? This prosthetic phone will help you - or just make you look ridiculous

An initiative called Give Your Mobile The Boot has been started in Great Britain. The goal is to make car drivers realize, that using their smartphones while driving is dangerous and to encourage them to put their mobiles into the car’s trunk (or boot, though I’ve never heard car’s trunk being called that before. Hm) to avoid the temptation of picking it up while on the road. MORE TH>N, a direct financial services firm, has developed the prosthetic phone as a part of this campaign. What is it? Well… it is a smartphone-shaped box of plastic. According to research made in Great Britain, around 30% of UK citizens are addicted to their mobile devices. Many are mentally compelled to check their phones at least once every hour, if not more often; some are even getting „phantom vibrations”, hearing and feeling imagined notifications their phones send them when they do not have them on themselves. Prosthetic phones are designed as a substitute for those poor souls, easying them into the idea of NOT having their Huawei or iPhone or HTC or whatever on them at all times and making them look quite stupid in the process.

If you live in the UK, you can obtain More TH>N’s prosthetic phone by applying to their one week clinical trial. Check out More Th>n’s website to learn more. Or better yet, do not. Just, you know, don’t spend whole day on the phone instead.
