Standard Innovation is the producer of We-Vibe sextoys and mobile applications. A few months ago, a class action suit has been brought in action against the company by their product users, who believed that the company is stealing their personal data. Standard Innovation has decided to settle for an agreement, due to which it is obliged to pay a fine to every We-Vibe user – mere hundred dollars to everyone who used the We-Vibe vibrator, and a whooping ten thousand dollars to everyone who also used the reportedly data-stealing We-Connect app. The company also announced that it will no longer collect its users’ data, and removed the neccessity to provide personal information during the We-Connec registration process.

What is the moral of the story? Your vibrator is someone else’s business.
