Meizu Pro 6 Plus and OnePlus 3T smartphones have been found to have their benchmark scores tweaked to seem more efficient than they actually are. Reportedly, both companies’ misdeeds have been found out by XDA Developers. Without entering into technical details, both companies have, by different means, pushed their benchmark phones to a performance higher than the usual. While OnePlus spokesperson has officially admitted to the company cheating and promised to rectify the mistake by benchmarking 3T again, Meizu has yet to comment.
