The company MediaTek officially unveiled a new, ten-core processor Helio X20.
According to the manufacturer, Helio X20 has a 15% higher computing power and is 30% more energy efficient than previous generation systems.
Helio X20 processor is composed of four Cortex A53 cores clocked at 2 GHz, the next four are A53 with 1.4 GHz and two Cortex A72 2.3GHz. The system is complemented by graphics Mali T880 MP4 and low voltage coprocessor M4 to support the “always on” feature.
Processor supports cameras with resolutions up to 25 megapixels, supports videos in 4K and LTE Category 6, and DUALSIM in a dual standby mode. Helio X20 also offers support for fast charging, at a rate from 0 to 75% in 20 minutes.
The first phones with the processor, we can expect to appear soon. They will be produced, among others, by Meizu and Oppo.
