The company Vivo unveiled in China two flagship models: Xplay 5 and Xplay5 Elite.Vivo Xplay5 Elite is the stronger of the pair of twins. It has a metal casing and screen protected doubly curved Gorilla Glass 4. The screen has a diagonal of 5.43 inches and qHD resolution and is made in the technology Super AMOLED.
Using liquid-cooled processor Snapdragon 820 Vivo Xplay5 Elite is the world’s first phone with 6 GB of memory. The smartphone is also equipped with 128 GB of internal memory – with no expansion options – and module Dual SIM LTE.
The smartphone also has a 16-megapixel Sony IMX298 camera with Dual LED Flash and autofocus based on the phase detection, supported by an 8-megapixel camera on the front. Equippement includes also the Hi-Fi sound system, and the power supply provides a battery with a capacity of 3600 mAh. Data is protected by fingerprint scanner, and the whole unit is managed by system Android 5.1 Lollipop with an interface overlay FunTouch, allowing work on the split screen. The smartphone is expected to cost the equivalent of approx. $660.
