Metal Slug is a pretty popular arcade shooter series that started its life as an arcade coin game back in the ancient times of 1996. Ever since then, numerous sequels & variants of the game have been released on many different gaming platforms. The newest game in the series, Metal Slug Infinity, will be a smartphone production. Made by one Ekkorr studio (Endless Frontier), MS Infinity will be an idle RPG. Idle video games, made with people who are tired, absent-minded or brain dead, are games where the majority of events in-game take place automatically; player's role is limited to occasionally pressing the screen in the right place. Graphics and soundtrack of MS Infinity are based on those of their protagonists; whether or not the idle style of gaming & probably microtransactions will fit the Metal Slug game, we shall wee.
