According to research by Counterpoint Research (doi), the number of Xiaomi smartphones shipped into India during the whole 2018 have exceeded that of Samsung devices. Xiaomi has experienced a very healthy 11% growth in units shipped when compared to least year. Currently Xiaomi devices cover 27% of Indian mobile market; in comparison, Samsung takes ”only” 22%.
