It has been heard for some time now that young people are drifting away from Facebook. The youngsters these days prefer Twitch and Snapchat, reportedly, and they are also getting tired of FB's near constant security and image fiascos. It must be true, since Mark Zuckerberg believes it; and he probably believes it, because otherwise he would not try to do something as silly as Facebook LOL. LOL is supposed to be a new feature of FB, which may or may not be a separate app. The goal of FB LOL will be to gather memes, both still images and gifs, for easy access from the main part of the social platform. The feature is currently under closed beta, supposedly tested by a small group of teenagers.
