HMD Global took its time, but the update is finally here. Nokia 8 is now running the latest Android operating system. News came out on Twitter from the mouth (well, fingers) of chief product officer Juho Sarvikas himself. First updatees have already received it. Sadly, the update seems to lack some of the 9 Pie functions, such as Adaptive Battery or App Actions. Some of them are rumoured to be currently in testing.
Nokia 8 Sirocco is reportedly ”next in line” for the update.
